The Ensemblist is an inside look at the experience of being a Broadway performer- from the first rehearsal through performing eight shows a week and beyond. Whether you’re an experienced theatre professional or a passionate fan, The Ensemblist will give you the opportunity to get to know new performers and the great work they do onstage, while also shedding light on some of the hidden innerworkings of the Broadway experience. Created and hosted by Mo Brady (The Addams Family, SMASH) and Nikka Graff Lanzarone (Chicago, Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown), The Ensemblist is the only podcast that shows you Broadway from the inside out.

Broadway credits: Promises, Promises, How To Succeed…, Chaplin.
West End Credits: (London) Mamma Mia, We Will Rock You, A Funny Thing…, Candide, FootlooseGuys And Dolls, Saturday Night Fever, Annie Get Your Gun.

How did you hear you’d booked your first Broadway show? When I booked Promises, my husband (who was the associate Choreographer/Director) sent me a photograph of everyone who had a pink post it note!!

What is your favorite event in the Broadway community?  Favourite event in Broadway Community is Broadway Bears.

What’s something about Broadway that fascinates you? What fascinates me about Broadway is everyone’s exceptional generosity towards charity- and inspiring and helping each other to be the best they can be, and constantly giving their time for free. Like nothing I have ever known.

What, other than theatre, has inspired you recently? Valerie Harper inspires me on DWTS.

If I could have coffee with any living person, it would be… I would LOVE to have coffee with as strong influential woman, like Oprah Winfrey. Know what her thoughts are at the beginning and end of the day.

If I could trade places with anybody for a day, I would choose…  If I could trade places with someone for the day it would be my dog Max, I would love to know his thoughts!!

To be successful in this business, it takes… I personally think that being a beautiful generous person, staying grounded, and working hard EVERY SINGLE day to be the best you possibly can be will lead you to be exactly where you are meant to be.

Tell us a secret. Ooh a secret, I am unbelievably sensitive…it drives me crazy, I take everything to heart!
