Where are you from? Queensland, Australia
Broadway credits: Evita; How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying; Billy Elliot; West Side Story
How did you hear you’d booked your first Broadway show? In the middle of rehearsal during my senior year of college at Juilliard.
What is your favorite event in the Broadway community? Broadway Barks. I love animals. I rescued my first dog through Broadway Barks one Saturday in between shows. He was a little 12 year old blind cock-a-poo named Danny. He changed my life!
What’s something about Broadway that fascinates you? The amount of work and effort it takes behind the scenes to make a show happen 8 times a week.
What, other than theatre, has inspired you recently? Friends and family. Obviously they have been by my side for every big and little thing in my life. But during these last couple of years, I’ve really seen that part of my life start to become a priority. I finally feel like I’m in a place in my career where I’m not completely consumed by the business, and so the two can compliment each other. Both my personal and professional life are better as a result.
If I could have coffee with any living person, it would be… That’s easy! Dolly Parton. I am a HUGE Country music fan. If I could choose any other career, I would love to be a Country music star.
If I could trade places with anybody for a day, I would choose… My pups Stella & Truvy. I have two adorable Miniature Australian Shepherd’s that are spoiled rotten and are the stars of my house!
To be successful in this business, it takes… I’m still trying to figure that one out! Lol. What I do know is this… if you surround yourself with love and work hard it’s a whole lot easier to enjoy some success.
Tell us a secret.I’m a secret college football fan. American football. CLEMSON!
