The Ensemblist is an inside look at the experience of being a Broadway performer- from the first rehearsal through performing eight shows a week and beyond. Whether you’re an experienced theatre professional or a passionate fan, The Ensemblist will give you the opportunity to get to know new performers and the great work they do onstage, while also shedding light on some of the hidden innerworkings of the Broadway experience. Created and hosted by Mo Brady (The Addams Family, SMASH) and Nikka Graff Lanzarone (Chicago, Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown), The Ensemblist is the only podcast that shows you Broadway from the inside out.

Broadway credits: 42nd street (Lorraine), Thoroughly Modern Millie (Ruth), Wonderful Town, Dracula, Wicked, Curtains (Bambi), Promises Promises (Miss Polanski), How to Succeed…(Miss Krumholtz), The Nance

How did you hear you’d booked your first Broadway show? I don’t remember. I remember booking my first off bway show, The Wild Party. I was in my kitchen in Washington heights and I cried.

What is your favorite event in the Broadway community? Performing on the Tonys and that moment in rehearsal when all the shows collide.

What’s something about Broadway that fascinates you? How much money gets wasted!

What, other than theatre, has inspired you recently? My friends, husband, and son. I am surrounded by amazing people.

If I could have coffee with any living person, it would be… Shirley MacLaine

If I could trade places with anybody for a day, I would choose… The President

To be successful in this business, it takes… Knowing yourself and what you have to offer

Tell us a secret. I have no secrets but I can tell you I’m a terrible auditioner!
