The Ensemblist is an inside look at the experience of being a Broadway performer- from the first rehearsal through performing eight shows a week and beyond. Whether you’re an experienced theatre professional or a passionate fan, The Ensemblist will give you the opportunity to get to know new performers and the great work they do onstage, while also shedding light on some of the hidden innerworkings of the Broadway experience. Created and hosted by Mo Brady (The Addams Family, SMASH) and Nikka Graff Lanzarone (Chicago, Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown), The Ensemblist is the only podcast that shows you Broadway from the inside out.

Kat's Episode: Married Couples (#15)

Where are you from? The Dirty Jerz. Exit 4. (That’s Garden State speak for “Souther New Jersey”)

Broadway Credits: West Side Story, Lysistrata Jones

What is your favorite event in the Broadway community? Opening Night is always magical…

What’s something about Broadway that fascinates you? I’m such a history buff, so being a (tiny?!) part of the rich and storied history of Broadway will always fascinate me…it’s also suuuuuper humbling!

What, other than theatre, has inspired you recently? My brother is living his dream everyday as a LAWYER in NYC! He recently graduated with a J.D./M.B.A. from Rutgers Law, breezed thru the bar, and now is practicing law in NYC. He has wanted to be a lawyer since we were little so its awesome to see him achieve his dream! I could not be more proud!

If I could have coffee with any living person, it would be… My husband. Our “morning moments” are the best part of my day.

If I could trade places with anybody for a day, I would choose… Taylor Swift. Oh, to be tall and blonde and 24.

To be successful in this business, it takes... a sense of humor.

Tell us a secret. I love dogs more than people.
