The Ensemblist is an inside look at the experience of being a Broadway performer- from the first rehearsal through performing eight shows a week and beyond. Whether you’re an experienced theatre professional or a passionate fan, The Ensemblist will give you the opportunity to get to know new performers and the great work they do onstage, while also shedding light on some of the hidden innerworkings of the Broadway experience. Created and hosted by Mo Brady (The Addams Family, SMASH) and Nikka Graff Lanzarone (Chicago, Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown), The Ensemblist is the only podcast that shows you Broadway from the inside out.

Gerard's Episode: Holidays on Broadway (#12)

Where are you from? Queens, New York

Broadway credits: Mamma Mia! (11 years and counting )

How did you hear you’d booked your first Broadway show? I was out hand delivering invitations to an event at the American Ballet Theatre

What is your favorite event in the Broadway community? I love the Gypsy of the Year competition and other BC/EFA events

What’s something about Broadway that fascinates you? I love the cameraderie that people gain. Not only amongst cast members in your own show but across the boards in all shows.

What, other than theatre, has inspired you recently? Food…I love to eat and I love to cook

If I could have coffee with any living person, it would be… Anderson Cooper…c'mon he’s so handsome and smart…tho I’d probably think that I sound like a bumbling idiot the whole time

If I could trade places with anybody for a day, I would choose… my dog Teddy.

To be successful in this business, it takes… a whole lot of determination, drive and most importantly a sense of humor

Tell us a secret: I love Paula Abdul…it’s true
