How did you hear you’d booked your first Broadway show? Just about to leave my sublet and head to the airport for the holidays. 

What is your favorite event in the Broadway community? Broadway Sessions w/Bendy Cameron and when we make albums. Im a huge fan of Carrie Manalokoas, Nick Blamire & The Hustle, Katy Thompson, and Brian 

What’s something about Broadway that fascinates you? How much we sacrifice and compromise to be successful at our craft. 

What, other than theatre, has inspired you recently? My wife and how huge her heart is. I want to be more like her.

If I could have coffee with any living person, it would be… My late grandmother Doris Thompson

To be successful in this business, it takes… Lots of love, sacrifice and focus, the balls to speak up, and always being ready for ANYTHING. 

Tell us a secret. This is so much a secret as its an opinion… I want to hate Paula Deen. But being from the south myself I know so many racist people who are hugely successful. I don’t understand why her business has to fail. Should she be more enlightened by now YES. But at the end of the day the bitch can cook. Good thing her family had black ppl around to teach em’.
