The Ensemblist is an inside look at the experience of being a Broadway performer- from the first rehearsal through performing eight shows a week and beyond. Whether you’re an experienced theatre professional or a passionate fan, The Ensemblist will give you the opportunity to get to know new performers and the great work they do onstage, while also shedding light on some of the hidden innerworkings of the Broadway experience. Created and hosted by Mo Brady (The Addams Family, SMASH) and Nikka Graff Lanzarone (Chicago, Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown), The Ensemblist is the only podcast that shows you Broadway from the inside out.

Broadway credits: THE MYSTERY OF EDWIN DROOD (Durdles), ANYTHING GOES (Purser/Moonface), CHICAGO(Amos), THE LITTLE MERMAID (Chef Louis), THE LION KING (Timon), CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG, Jackie Mason’s LAUGHING ROOM ONLY.

How did you hear you’d booked your first Broadway show? Was on a two day shoot here in the city of an industrial film for IBM and got a call from the composer (Doug Katseros) to tell me I was getting an offer. It was one of the great life/career moments ever!!

What is your favorite event in the Broadway community? An Opening Night!!!

What’s something about Broadway that fascinates you? Everything! I love it. Love being on stage more than anything. Love the community of it. Love the family that is created in a cast.

What, other than theatre, has inspired you recently? Not to drop names, but a lunch with Joel Grey and a conversation that we had. Lost 8 lbs since!

If I could have coffee with any living person, it would be… Oprah

If I could trade places with anybody for a day, I would choose… Phil Mickelson. Maybe Jimmy Fallon. Maybe Tom Hanks.

To be successful in this business, it takes… Perseverence!!

Tell us a secret. Inside I’m 6'3". Seriously: If I wasn’t an actor I think I would want to be a chef, even though I don’t even cook all that much. (that’s not a very deep secret - I know!)
