The Ensemblist is an inside look at the experience of being a Broadway performer- from the first rehearsal through performing eight shows a week and beyond. Whether you’re an experienced theatre professional or a passionate fan, The Ensemblist will give you the opportunity to get to know new performers and the great work they do onstage, while also shedding light on some of the hidden innerworkings of the Broadway experience. Created and hosted by Mo Brady (The Addams Family, SMASH) and Nikka Graff Lanzarone (Chicago, Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown), The Ensemblist is the only podcast that shows you Broadway from the inside out.

Ephraim's Episode: I'm.In.Tech. (#32)

Where are you from? St Petersburg, FL

Broadway credits: The Little Mermaid, Memphis, Rent (off bway), Newsies, Motown, Hamilton.

How did you hear you’d booked your first Broadway show? I was walking down 34th street when I got a call from the Disney offices.

What is your favorite event in the Broadway community? I really love the broadway on broadway event, I get to see all of my friends perform in their shows in front of an incredible crowd.

What’s something about Broadway that fascinates you? What fascinates me is that broadway really is a close community of the most hard working, loving and giving people I've ever come into contact with!

What, other than theatre, has inspired you recently? I really am inspired by great live music, I've been going to a lot of places around the city to hear new bands and singers as well as some great new up and coming dj's!

If I could have coffee with any living person, it would be... If I could have coffee with anyone right now it would have to be President Obama.

If I could trade places with anybody for a day, I would choose... If I could trade places with anybody for a day it would be be Bruno Mars so I could sing, drum and dance with an awesome band at the Super Bowl!

To be successful in this business it takes... a constant, well rounded work ethic and even more than that, being a great person! Being nice, respectful, fun and hard working will take you farther than talent ever will.

Tell us a secret. My secret is: I used to have a lisp when I was little...couldn't say S's! I would say things like "fwimming" because I couldn't say swimming!lol
