The Ensemblist is an inside look at the experience of being a Broadway performer- from the first rehearsal through performing eight shows a week and beyond. Whether you’re an experienced theatre professional or a passionate fan, The Ensemblist will give you the opportunity to get to know new performers and the great work they do onstage, while also shedding light on some of the hidden innerworkings of the Broadway experience. Created and hosted by Mo Brady (The Addams Family, SMASH) and Nikka Graff Lanzarone (Chicago, Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown), The Ensemblist is the only podcast that shows you Broadway from the inside out.

Brandon's Episode: Readings and Workshops (#29) - Guest Host!

Where are you from? Reading, Pa

Broadway credits: Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark (Original Cast Member), Anything Goes

How did you hear you’d booked your first Broadway show? I was having lunch at Daniela Trattoria’s on 45th & 9th, talking about how badly I wanted to be on Broadway, thats when my agent called. By the end of the phone call, I somehow found myself standing in front of the Foxwoods Theater, looking at the Spider-Man marquee… crying.

What is your favorite event in the Broadway community? Broadway Bares, of course. Its the one night of the year I can be a Rock Star and raise money for an amaaaazing cause (BC/EFA). I mean, who doesn’t like feeling sexy!?!

What’s something about Broadway that fascinates you? The casting process. Oooh how I’d love to sit on the other side of the table just a couple of times.

What, other than theatre, has inspired you recently? Beyonce. And video editing. I love making a fun video.

If I could have coffee with any living person, it would be… Beyonce. And Emma Stone. Definitely Emma Stone.

If I could trade places with anybody for a day, I would choose… Justin Timberlake. Oh, and Beyonce.

To be successful in this business, it takes… A lot of things. But the short list would be: A sense of humor (to laugh off what this industry throws at you), the drive (to keep going), and Ah-Mazing hair.

Tell us a secret. I'm a huuuuuge video game nerd. Like, own all the systems kind of nerd. I even host a video game night at my apt every few weeks. Just me and my brahs. :-D
