Where are you from? Pittsburgh, PA
Broadway credits: West Side Story, South Pacific, Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown
How did you hear you’d booked your first Broadway show? Fun story actually… I was in for West Side Story for what I thought was a vacation swing position. I did the whole day of auditioning and found out later that day that I actually didn’t get it. I was so bummed and naturally I drank my sorrows away. The next day I was super hung over and I got a call from my agent. They said that West Side had decided to add/create a track for me as an extra full time swing and to also cover the vocal specialty tracks!
What is your favorite event in the Broadway community? I love Gypsy of the Year.
What’s something about Broadway that fascinates you? This may be kind of dark, but…I think the fact that it’s so easy to go from being a constantly working actor, or even a “Star” to being someone that the business seems to forget. I think that’s something that is fascinating and i’ll never really get.
What, other than theatre, has inspired you recently? Rock climbing
If I could trade places with anybody for a day, I would choose… Any big movie star just to see how crazy it actually is.
To be successful in this business, it takes… A ridiculous amount of perseverance and a bit of insanity!
Tell us a secret. I only have half a bladder : )
