What is The Ensemblist?
The Ensemblist is an online advocate for the talented artists who work in Broadway ensembles. What started as an audio podcast for those curious about how Broadway really works turned into an avenue for young and aspiring professional artists to learn more about about theatre from in the inside out.
What’s an ensemblist?
It's simple: an ensemblist is a chorus member. They may die on a barricade, tap dance on a giant dime, or soar over the audience dressed as a flying monkey, but each individual is a talented performer with a wealth of experiences to share.
What are your podcast episodes about?
Since opening our doors in 2013, we’ve shared the stories of Broadway’s talented ensemble actors. In that time, we’ve produced over 200 episodes, with mini-series on a variety of topics that effect performers.
