The Ensemblist is an inside look at the experience of being a Broadway performer- from the first rehearsal through performing eight shows a week and beyond. Whether you’re an experienced theatre professional or a passionate fan, The Ensemblist will give you the opportunity to get to know new performers and the great work they do onstage, while also shedding light on some of the hidden innerworkings of the Broadway experience. Created and hosted by Mo Brady (The Addams Family, SMASH) and Nikka Graff Lanzarone (Chicago, Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown), The Ensemblist is the only podcast that shows you Broadway from the inside out.

The Ensemblist announces its first ever Season Standout List: Jill Abramovitz (Beetlejuice), Allison Blackwell (Pretty Woman: The Musical), Ashley Blair Fitzgerald (The Cher Show), Casey Garvin (King Kong) and Jarvis B. Manning, Jr. (Ain’t Too Proud: The Life and Times of the Temptations).

For the first time, The Ensemblist has surveyed the Broadway season to celebrate five actors in standout ensemble roles. Each one is featured in a show that celebrates their agility, skill and talent. While these performances are often too fleeting to be recognized by other award ceremonies, they are just as remarkable and worthy of distinction. The Ensemblist’s Season Standout List champions these performers for their work and celebrates them for contribution to the theatrical season.

The Ensemblist announced it’s 1st Annual “Ones to Watch” List: Kate Bailey, Kevin Csolak, Kimberly Dodson and Wayne “Juice” Mackins. We wanted to find a way to celebrate and champion the exciting new talent hitting Broadway stages this year.

In conjunction with Justin "Squigs" Robertson and The Lights of Broadway Show Cards, The Ensemblist announced the 2018 Ensemblist Award winners: Jacqueline B. Arnold, Jenifer Foote, Aaron Kaburick and Christian Dante White.

Since 2014, The Ensemblist Awards have been bestowed every December to a Broadway performer who “embodies the ensemblist spirit: someone who is talented, skilled, multifaceted, inquisitive and kind.” The recipients are always chosen by the previous year’s winners as a way for Broadway community members to celebrate artists they respect and admire.
